Scholarship programme ResidenZ, for future-oriented research and practice was publicly announced on 06 October during the Leadership Festival. Details at residenzukunft.de
We are looking for your answer for our future!
The regional competence centres act as an umbrella network. Starting in spring 2020, three fellows will pursue three of the region's most pressing questions on social, economic and environmental issues for six months. The pilot focuses on the historic northern German village of Rothenklempenow and the Szczecin Lagoon region. Within this framework, three individuals from different backgrounds are invited to research and develop realistic and comprehensive prototypes on site to address relevant challenges in the region. The three candidates will be determined on the basis of an online application process and in the subsequent selection process with a jury decision.
If you would like to receive more information, please write to dialog@rce-stettinerhaff.eu.

This year's regional meeting was organised by RCE Crete with the support of the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) and was held in conjunction with the final meeting of RCE Crete's Erasmus project - Climate Change, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security (CCSAFS) - a master's degree development project initiated by RCE Crete and implemented by universities in Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon. This meeting was the first time that an RCE regional meeting was held in conjunction with a project meeting from an EU-funded RCE project.

From 03-04 August 2019, Rothenklempenow celebrated its 750th anniversary.
The history of the village goes back to the Middle Ages and is closely connected with the noble family of the Eickstedts, who owned the estate from 1269 to 1928. The village was not given the name Rothenklempenow until 1689. The exhibition makes historical events comprehensible. Contemporary witnesses report on the historical contexts and the phases that the village has experienced.
Students of the Cusanus University and trainees of GLS Bank are in exchange through this workshop and think about the following questions: How can founders fulfil the demands of the Fridays for Future movement? What kind of economic activity is needed?
We will explore these and similar questions in a workshop discussion with Tlaxcalli, LunchVegaz, Farmers for Future and the Pomeranian Farm Community on Thursday, 17.07.2019.

vollehalle - the climate show that encourages
What can you do about climate change on your own? Stop being alone. That's what Maren Kling, Michael Bukowski, Martin Oetting and Kai Schächtele make vollehalle - the climate change show and initiative that is fun and encouraging. The show presents doers and pioneers who are breaking new ground and inspire the audience to take action in their own lives. Instead of frustration about climate change, vollehalle creates a desire for constructive change. vollehalle is for everyone who wants to stop climate change. The show format combines theatre, media and lecture elements.
What is the show about?
We are still telling ourselves the prospect of averting climate change as a story of prohibition and renunciation. That won't get us anywhere. We need a new, positive narrative. And there is one. Hopeful stories of people who have long since started, developed new possibilities and seized new opportunities. vollehalle brings these doers and pioneers into the limelight. Because they show what constructive paths we can take. And they create confidence. The vollehalle team films and interviews the protagonists who are presented in the show.

Expert dialogue on education for sustainable development
In June 2019, the first expert dialogue on Education for Sustainable Development took place as part of the RCE Germany Meet up. At the same time, the RCE network from Germany met in Rothenklempenow. The municipality of Rothenklempenow with its 600 inhabitants has been in the media again and again in the last two years, with the ESD project Weltacker as a field of dialogue on world nutrition, the BioBoden cooperative as an innovative solution for land security for organic farmers and as an insider tip for award-winning food start-ups.
Thus, the "Expert Dialogue on Education for Sustainable Development 2019" is the first public event of the RCE Stettiner Haff. Together with the subsequent public opening of the World Acre, this will be the kick-off for the "Action Days Sustainability 25.05 - 06.06.2019" in our region. The meeting will ensure the establishment and further development of an effective transnational RCE community.
