On July 25, two eighth grade classes from the regional school in Löcknitz came to visit us. Uta and Pablo showed the two groups around the world field and explained the background to agriculture. Afterwards, everyone was asked to assess how people and resources are distributed in the different regions of the world in a joint world game. We offered this game for the first time and saw that there was still room for improvement in the process. Nevertheless, we think that it has a lot of potential to make global cycles tangible.
The group then walked to the town center to visit the historic estate, the local history museum and the Fangelturm tower.
