The AG Mobilität Nordost Uckermark invited people to exchange ideas about the possibilities of transportation around Rothenklempenow and in rural areas.

In the citizens' hall of Rothenklempenow Castle, representatives of the initiative led a role-playing game that was intended to show which means of transport the participants usually use. Although many would like to use public transport as often as possible, the results made it clear that in rural areas there is usually not much you can do without your own car.

However, it also became clear from the meeting that there could certainly be other options (e.g. Ilsebus). However, social will is needed to demand these alternatives politically. The number of participants at the event also reflected the fact that, unfortunately, few people feel that the topic is of interest to them.

Nevertheless, the presentation was informative for the participants and a possible starting point to win over more people for the topic of mobility in rural areas!
