2021 RCE Awards for innovative projects on education for sustainable development (ESD)
Launched in 2012, the RCE Award recognizes ESD projects and programs within the global RCE network and honors RCEs that have made outstanding contributions to addressing local sustainable development challenges in their regions.
The award recognizes projects and programs that bridge local and global perspectives on sustainable development, engage in transformative learning and research, and initiatives that contribute to community engagement, research and development, and capacity building of stakeholders and partners.
Die Gewinner der RCE Awards 2021, die auf der 12. globalen RCE-Konferenz, die vom 16. bis 18. November 2021 online stattfand, wurden vorgestellt, umfassten Projekte zu den SDGs und Themen wie Klimapolitik, Lehrplanentwicklung, Abfall, Landwirtschaft, verantwortungsvoller Konsum und Produktion, traditionelles Wissen, nachhaltige Städte und Gemeinden sowie Qualitätsbildung. Die Preisträger wurden in drei Kategorien ausgezeichnet: (1) Herausragendes Flaggschiffprojekt, (2) Anerkanntes Flaggschiffprojekt und (3) Lobende Erwähnung.
